We wanted to share this local program hosted by another group that may be helpful to our community members:
The Greater Portland Council of Governments is developing a Digital Equity & Inclusion Plan to help bring high-speed internet to underserved populations in Cumberland County. This workshop is an opportunity for community members to learn about this effort and share their experiences.
Although this workshop is in Bridgton, anyone from Cumberland County is welcome to attend. Food and beverages will be provided.

NDEC Workshops
Learn the basics of using email in this class. We will look at navigating, composing, replying, working with attachments and more, with hands-on class participation. *A device connected to the internet and an email account are required for this class.

While not part of the ESRB region directly (though it does include Chatham, NH which is a member of the MSAD72 School District) this is some great news about their success bringing fiber to the home broadband to their region.

Having fast new Internet is not very helpful if you don’t know how to use it. As part of our effort to increase local broadband speeds, we are also committed to helping less tech savvy residents participate in this important connection to the world. Please take advantage of the excellent FREE workshops coming to the Hobbs Library on January 25th, and pass this info on to friends who need it.
